Background:
Neil studied at Huddersfield University, gaining a BSc in Virtual Reality Design before moving on to work at Northern marketing agency for eight-and-a-half years.
While in this role Neil became Studio Manager, delivering on web development and design projects for travel and tourism clients, as well as overseeing both departments.
During his 11 years at Punch, Neil has assisted in growing and developing the digital department, expanding the skillsets across the team. He works across digital hospitality projects with a specific focus on accessibility.

Paul
Senior Developer

Background:
Paul entered the industry as an e-commerce project manager and was always passionate about moving into web development, and self-taught himself the foundations.
He then moved into the marketing industry after three years, joining Punch as a Junior Developer. After several years with the team, Paul left to expand his digital marketing expertise before returning to Punch in 2021 to take up a Senior Position.

Background:
Before joining Punch Matt worked as a Senior Designer for a hospitality management and consultancy company.
Alongside this role he has continued to explore and expand his creative and digital skills as an illustrator and designer, developing a recognisable brand in the webcomic community.
He joined Punch as a Senior Developer in 2019 and has become an integral part of the digital team, offering his unique perspective, creativity, and experience in gamification and app development.
Key Contributions:
- Developed a game for Splendid Hospitality group’s winter campaign “It’s a Winterful Life”, feeding into the overarching storytelling narrative of the campaign which gained almost 60,000 landing page visitors in two months.
- Increased engagement and reach for ForHousing with the development of their first digital game, empowering social housing tenants to get involved with their decarbonisation efforts, gaining the attention of the Department of Education.
